The 6-day fascination hill country tour package offers you the most scenic experience of the magical island. If you are looking to spend your holiday in hill country you should definitely go with this one. Starting from Pinnawala, you can enjoy the Sri Lankan big beauties and heading straight to explore the rich cultural heritage of Kandy. The lush green tea plantations and scenic beauty of the hill country would definitely keep you for some more days there. The tour will be ended up by giving you the signature city tour of Colombo.
You are warmly welcomed by one of our team members. The beginning of the tour will be Pinnawala. This takes two and a half hours all the way to Pinnawala Elephant orphanage.
Pinnawla Elephant orphanage – This is a rare opportunity to get up close with such a great amount of elephants. Seeing the bottle feed of baby elephants and watching them do tricks are the highlights of the tour. Riding elephants, taking pictures with them and watching them bath makes this tour unforgettable.
Then the journey will be continued all the way to Kandy.
Peradeniya Botanical Garden – This is a rare opportunity to get up close with such a great amount of elephants. Seeing the bottle feed of baby elephants and watching them do tricks are the highlights of the tour. Riding elephants, taking pictures with them and watching them bath makes this tour unforgettable.
Kandy Temple – Sri Dalada Maligawa of Kandy, the temple that houses the relic of the sacred tooth of the Buddha, is probably the Buddhist shrine. This is worshipped not only by Buddhists in Sri Lanka but by Buddhists around the world.
Kandy culture Show – This cultural program describes various forms of Kandyan dance that once originated in the region but has now spread to different parts of the island. Kandyan dance plays an important role in Sri Lankan culture and is a highly anticipated event during Perahera processions. During the show, you will see several dances describing the graceful movements of birds and animals, which go back to the ancient ritual known as Kohomba Kapkariya, as well as energetic acrobatic performances where men perform a series of jumping pirouettes and waterfalls such as the rotating plates and the dramatic “march to fire” that ends the show.
Proceed to the hotel
On the 2nd day the journey will be proceeded to Nuwara Eliya which is Known as Little England. Ramboda Waterfall can be visited on the way to Nuwara Eliya.
Ramboda Waterfall – unique and beautiful view can be seen in the Pussellawa area of Nuwara Eliya, at Ramboda Pass. The Ramboda Falls (Height:109 m) in Sri Lanka a tributary of the Kothmale Oya. It forms a twin with the Dunsinane Falls, created by Pundalu Oya, also a tributary of the Kothmale River.
Then we proceed to Nuwara Eliya. This takes a little more than an hour.
The 2nd visit of the day is Gregory lake.
Gregory lake -visitors can follow the tradition of the British era of relaxing on the lake shore or more comfortable entertainment, such as swan-boat paddling, boat rides, pony rides on the shore, walking balls, water sports such as jet skis, windsurfing, etc. With these many attractions, Gregory Lake is a family-friendly and friendly Sri Lankan landmark, which attracts many vacationers visiting the country.

On the 3rd day our visit is Horton Plains
Horton plains -Horton Plains, Sri Lanka, is the coldest and windiest place in the country. Horton Plains, its surroundings, its forests and the nearby Peak Wilderness make up Sri Lanka’s largest water parting. almost all the great rivers. At the southern end of the Horton Plains, 2140 m above sea level, is the world famous end. The most common wildlife sites on the Horton Plains are Sambar deer herds. Other mammals in the park include the white-throated mongoose, the long-tailed squirrel, the endemic monkey and the feline monkey.
After visiting Horton plain, we will proceed back to the hotel.
In the morning on 4th day we’ll head to Ella. The city is situated at an elevation of 1041 meters above sea level. The journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella takes one and half hours. If you want to get a train ride to ella trains are available from NanuOya, the Station which is closet to Nuwara Eliya. This ride will take approximately 3 and half hours with the amazing view of mountains surrounded by trees.
Evening proceeds to the hotel
In morning the journey will be begun all the way to the commercial city which is known as Colombo. This will take 5 hours all the way.
There are 3 main places that will be visited in Colombo.
National Museum – The National Museum of Sri Lanka, is considered Sri Lanka’s largest museum. It is maintained by its own department of the National Museum in Sri Lanka. It is home to many precious and historically significant items such as the throne and crown of Kandyan monarchs.
Gangarama Temple – The most visited temple in the city, the Gangaramaya Temple, which annually hosts the largest and most colourful festival in Vesak, Sri Lanka, has a history of 120 years.
On the 6th day, We head to the coast. The road that is all the way to Galle lies along the coast. Travelling on this road is a mind-blowing experience after a long journey. The first Visit is Galle fort and lighthouse.
Galle fort – the famous 130-acre Galle Dutch Fort has the scenic view of the Indian ocean and opportunity to explore the Dutch architecture of colonial past with its cobblestone paved narrow streets, historical buildings and monuments in this UNESCO World Heritage will give you unforgettable memories about your Sri Lankan Tour.
Lighthouse – The Stone Clock Tower, the ramparts and the lighthouse are just some of the most notable monuments to visit when in the Galle fortress.
Then we head to Bentota to see the beauty of Madu river. This river is well-known for boat safari, fish therapy and there is an island called cinnamon island that you can learn how cinnamon made and have some cinnamon tea.
